Dr. Shailesh Ayyangar is currently the Managing Director, India & Vice-President for Sanofi’s South Asia Region.
In his earlier assignment as Head of the Tropical Medicine Business unit for International Markets in SmithKline Beecham, UK, he championed the research and development on drugs for tropical diseases. He was a whole time Director of SmithKline Beecham Pharmaceuticals before its merger with GlaxoWellcome.
He has been listed among ‘India’s Best CEOs’ in the Mid-Sized Companies category by Business India magazine in 2014.
He has also been unanimously elected as the President of OPPI (Organization of Pharmaceutical Producers of India) for the third consecutive term (2015-2016).
Dr. Ayyangar holds a post-graduate degree in Business Management from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad.
Mr. Ajay Nanavati
Retired Director, 3M Co.
Mr. Ajay Nanavati currently advises international companies looking to invest in India and assists Indian companies implement growth strategies with a specific focus on global expansion, portfolio management/rationalization, talent acquisition/development, new product pipeline & go-to- market models. He also actively mentors start-ups.
Prior to his retirement from his long stint at 3M, Mr. Nanavati was Director, Global Channel Services, for US Atlantic Pacific Operations in St. Paul. He was also the Director for Asia Pacific & Greater China Region, and was responsible for accelerating 3M’s growth in the region.
He took over as Managing Director of 3M India in October 2008 and spent 16 years in various global roles. In Singapore, he led 3M’s Telecom Business in the APAC Region, followed by 4 years in Austin, Texas where he was responsible for starting a new telecom services business for 3M. At the 3M headquarters in St. Paul, he led the acquisition and integration of a US-based company into 3M. He served as the Managing Director of 3M Israel.
Mr. Nanavati holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from Virginia Tech., USA.
Dr. Gopichand Katragadda
Group Chief Technology Officer and Innovation Head, Tata Sons.
Dr. Katragadda drives technology and innovation for the Tata group, leveraging cross-company synergies. He serves as a director on the boards of Tata Elxsi, Tata Communications, Tata Teleservices, Tata Autocomp Systems and Flisom AG.
As former Chairman and Managing Director, he helped grow GE’s largest R&D Centre – the John F. Welch Technology Centre (JFWTC). His team contributed to over 300 US patents a year. Dr. Katragadda also served as the chairman for GE-BEL.
He formerly worked in the US-based Karta Technologies wherein he led the development of advanced sensor technology for US government agencies and research consortiums.
Dr. Katragadda provides the voice of technology for various Academic and Industrial bodies including CII, IET, and Anita Borg Institute. He is the current Chair of the CII National Technology Committee, Co-Chair of the Indo-UK JETCO Technology Track, and the Chair for the India Development Panel of the IET. He has over 30 publications and 5 patents.
Dr. Katragadda holds an MS and a PhD degree in Electrical Engineering from Iowa State University, Ames, Iowa.
Ms. Promila Ayyangar

Ms. Promila Ayyangar is an Organization Design Consultant and a Leadership Coach. She is a business professional with over 30 years of experience predominantly in the technology services/training sector.
She has spent 18 years at NIIT, heading the Education-Industry collaboration for IT professionals, managed software services business for NIIT in UK, Europe and Middle East and the fast-growing government school education segment in order to bring technology-based education to the students in the most backward parts of India.
Ms. Ayyangar started developing rural producer’s cooperatives across India through the successful Anand Pattern and worked with the Father of the White Revolution in India, Dr. Varghese Kurian. She has also been a member of NIIT Chairman’s Path Finder’s Squadron, in 2000-2001. She serves as the external member on the Internal Complaints Committee under POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment at Work) of Abbot India, Bharti Axa Life and Mirae Assets.
Ms. Ayyangar holds an MS in Rural Management from IRMA.
Mr. Vipin Sondhi

Mr. Vipin Sondhi is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of JCB India Limited. He has led the growth of JCB’s export business spanning over 60 countries. JCB India has since established market leadership in the Construction and Earthmoving Equipment Industry. Mr. Sondhi has over three decades of experience in Manufacturing and Engineering-based companies such as Honda, Tata Steel and Tecumseh.
He is an elected member of the CII National Council and the Chairman of the Capital Goods Committee. He was awarded the Confederation of India’s Young Manager trophy in the year 2000, The Udyog Rattan Award by the Institute of Economic Studies in 2011 and The CEO of the Year award at CEO India Awards in 2014.
Mr. Sondhi is an alumnus of IIT-Delhi and holds an MBA from IIM, Ahmedabad.
Mr. Venkatesh Valluri
Chairman and Managing Director, Valluri Technology Accelerators
Mr. Valluri is the Founder and Chairman of Valluri Technology Accelerators and Valluri Change Foundation. He has been associated with various global industries for over 30 years and has leadership, operational and general management experiences spanning the regions of India, Europe and the US.
Mr. Valluri served as the Chairman of the Board for Ingersoll Rand, India’s public company operations for over six years, until November 2015. He also served on the global Executive Leadership Council of Ingersoll Rand as the member of the Management Team reporting to the Board of Directors.
Mr. Valluri was associated with the global measurement technology leader, Agilent Technologies, as its President & Country Manager and served as the Chairman of the Board for its Indian subsidiary. Prior to Agilent, he held various leadership roles at GE (General Electric) in India and overseas. He also served as the Managing Director of GE’s Silicones business in India and later as the Business Leader for GE’s Specialty Materials business in Europe. He worked as the Vice President of GE’s Corporate Business Development group and established multiple businesses and initiatives for GE’s operations in India.
Mr. Venkatesh Valluri holds a bachelor degree in Electronics and an MBA from IIM, Ahmedabad.
Mr. Sunil Gulati
Senior Advisor to RBL Bank
Mr. Sunil Gulati has three decades of experience in the banking Industry both in India and Overseas across investment banking, corporate finance, relationship management, risk management and corporate strategy.
He took over as the Chief Risk Officer of RBL Bank in 2010, during its transformation from a small regional bank to a national player. The bank grew more than 10x across corporate retail, capital markets and agriculture/financial inclusion sectors.
Prior to that he spent 5 years at Yes bank where he was the Group President responsible for Wholesale Banking including Corporate & Institutional banking, Emerging Corporate Banking, Transaction Banking, International Banking and Business Advisory services.
He was also associated with GE Commercial Finance business before engaging with Yes Bank. Prior to that he headed the ING Barings Business in India and was part of the core team that helped ING acquire a controlling stake in Vysya bank. He was also designated as Regional CEO for all their businesses in Western India.
Mr. Gulati started his banking career with Bank of America in India and Hong Kong. He is also currently the Advisor & Director on Merisis Advisors and serves as an Independent Director on the board of Varthana Finance.
Sunil is a B.Tech from IIT, Delhi, and is a Gold Medalist from IIM, Ahmedabad.
Mr. Ravi Sunderrajan
Senior Director Finance HARMAN International (India) Pvt. Ltd
Mr. Ravi Sunderrajan is senior director of finance at HARMAN India. In this role, he is responsible for all aspects of the finance function including controllership, financial planning and analysis, tax, treasury and internal controls, while ensuring stringent financial compliance.
Recently, Ravi was given an additional responsibility of overseeing Symphony Teleca’s integration with HARMAN.
Ravi comes with over 16 years of cross-cultural experience in the financial domain. Prior to HARMAN, Ravi was heading the finance function for the India R&D center at Citrix. In his earlier assignments he has held managerial positions in companies such as NXP Semiconductors, Telelogic, Wipro and Microland.
Ravi is a Chartered Accountant (ICAI), Management Accountant (ICWAI) and holds a Bachelor’s degree in commerce from Bangalore University. He is an alumnus of Indian Institute of Management Bangalore – Advance Management Program. He’s also an active member of the CFO India and IMA CFO India forums.
Ms. Jayantika Dave
Director – Ingersoll Rand India Board
Ms. Jayantika Dave is an Advisor in HR Excellence, and an Independent Director on the Boards of various organizations. Throughout her multi-faceted career, she has been a key business consulting partner, the architect for senior leadership development, and a Coach and Mentor for senior leaders in organizations.
She was the Vice-President – Human Resources for Ingersoll Rand India, and led the Human Resource strategy and direction for Ingersoll Rand’s aggressive growth plans in India. Under her leadership the company was even recognized as an Employer of Choice.
Prior to Ingersoll Rand, Jayantika held Human Resource positions in Hewlett-Packard and Agilent Technologies as well as working as a consultant in different organizations.
Ms. Dave is an Economics Honor’s graduate from Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi University and holds a Master’s in Business Administration from the Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi University.
Mr. Rajat Mathur
Chief Executive- Emerging Markets at L&T Infotech
Mr. Rajat Mathur has over 30 years of experience in running IT Services Businesses with blue-chip organizations like Wipro Technologies and Larsen and Toubro Group (L&T).
As the Chief Executive for Emerging Markets of L&T Infotech he is responsible for Leading Emerging Markets Unit in Asia Pacific, Japan, India, Middle-East, Africa and Latin America. Rajat leverages the core competencies and relationships with customers in Energy, Utilities, E&C, Banking and Insurance and offers value through Business to IT connect in these Markets. He built the necessary platform to channelize the capabilities and competencies of the L&T Group in various countries. He has secured TCV worth USD 250 Million including the marquee project with Ministry of Finance (CBDT) to create a high-end analytics platform to help add over 100 Million tax payers in 5 years as against the current 25 million.
Prior to this as the Chief Executive of Business Solutions Division at Wipro Infotech, he has incubated Wipro’s Software business in India, APAC and the Middle-East. He has successfully contributed towards the Rapid growth in Financial Services, Telecom, Energy & Utilities, Manufacturing, Education and Government. He was in charge of establishing Wipro Arabia Ltd which is a Joint-Venture with Dar Al-Riyadh, a Saudi Arabian leading Engineering Consulting firm. This has been a very successful JV of Wipro Ltd, which is a 500-Million-dollar company.
His broad range of experience can be looked at from Industry and New Markets building perspective.
He is a member of Nasscom sub-committee for Mid-Market Segment Solutions.
Rajat is a Mechanical Engineer from BITS and an MBA from Podar Institute of Management.
