Das Narayandas is the James J. Hill Professor of Business
Administration at the Harvard Business School. He is
currently the Senior Associate Dean, Chair, Harvard
Business Publishing and Senior Associate Dean, Chair,
Executive Education. In addition, he is Co-Chair of the
Harvard Business School Executive Education Program,
Building Client Management Capabilities in Professional
Service Firms. His academic credentials include a Bachelor
of Technology degree in Engineering from the Indian
Institute of Technology, a Post-Graduate Diploma in
Management from the Indian Institute of Management, and a
Ph.D. in Management from Purdue University.

Stuart L. Hart is one of the world's top authorities on the
implications of environment and poverty for business
strategy. According to Bloomberg Businessweek, he is “one
of the founding fathers of the ‘base of the pyramid’
economic theory.” He is the S.C. Johnson Chair Emeritus in
Sustainable Global Enterprise and Professor Emeritus of
Management and Organizations at Cornell University’s
Johnson Graduate School of Management, where he founded the
Centre for Sustainable Global Enterprise. He also serves as
Distinguished Fellow at the William Davidson Institute
(University of Michigan), Founder and President of
Enterprise for a Sustainable World, and Founding Director
of the Emergent Institute in Bangalore, India.
His 1995 article “A Natural Resource-Based View of the Firm” is the most highly cited academic work in the field of sustainable enterprise. In addition, he wrote the seminal article “Beyond Greening: Strategies for a Sustainable World,” which won the McKinsey Award for Best Article in Harvard Business Review in 1997, and helped launch the movement for corporate sustainability. With C.K. Prahalad, Hart also wrote the path-breaking 2002 article “The Fortune at the Bottom of the Pyramid,” which provided the first articulation of how business could profitably serve the needs of the four billion poor in the developing world. With Ted London, Hart is also the author of a newly released book entitled Next Generation Business Strategies for the Base of the Pyramid. His best-selling book, Capitalism at the Crossroads, published in 2005, was selected by Cambridge University as one of the 50 top books on sustainability of all-time; the third edition of the book was published in 2010.

K Jairaj has a distinguished record of expertise in

Dr. Raju S. K. Chaganti, Ph.D. Co-Founded Cancer Genetics,
Inc., a Massachusetts-based, privately-held Life Science
company in 1999. He is a Professor of Genetics in Pathology
and Professor of Cell Biology and Genetics at the Weill
Medical College of Cornell University and Weill Graduate
School of Medical Sciences of Cornell University, in New
York City. He also served as the Chairman of Cancer
Genetics Inc. since April 1999 and served as its Member of
Scientific Advisory Board. He serves as a Member of
Advisory Board at MediGen Group LLC.
Dr. Chaganti is an internationally recognized leader in Cancer Cytogenetics and Molecular Genetics. Dr. Chaganti serves as a Director of Cancer Genetics, Inc. He is a member and incumbent of the William E. Snee Chair in the Department of Medicine at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, in New York City. He has published over 325 scientific papers in the area of Genetics and is the inventor on two patents for two genes cloned from cancer cells. Dr. Chaganti received a Ph.D. degree in Genetics from Harvard University and post-doctoral research training at Harvard University, Medical Research Council of Great Britain, and the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm.

Dr. Ajit Ranade serves as the President and Chief Economist
of the Aditya Birla Group. He has not only served as an
Executive Officer of Financial Technologies India Ltd., but
has also served as the Chief Economist at ABN AMRO Bank.
His professional career has spanned academic and corporate
assignments, including teaching in universities in India
and U.S. He served as an Equity Analyst of ABN AMRO Bank
N.V., Research Division. Dr. Ranade serves as a Director on
the Board of Hindalco Almex Aerospace Limited, a joint
venture company of Hindalco and Almex Inc. of USA. He has
also served as Independent Director of Multi Commodity
Exchange of India Ltd. in the past.
He has served on various committees of the Reserve Bank of India, most recently in the committee for Fuller Capital Account Convertibility. He is a member of the Board of India Today Economists, Chairman of the CII West Zone Sub Committee on Economic Affairs and the Research Advisory Panel of the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance. Dr. Ranade is a member of the Senate and Advisory Council of Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.

mobile education program for economically disadvantaged
children and rural teachers.
